Eye care for children
Children’s eyes develop quickly, and finding problems early protects their vision for life. Our optometrists keep the exam friendly and relaxed, so children feel at ease. We check for common childhood conditions, including:
- Refractive errors: short-sightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism.
- Amblyopia (lazy eye).
- Strabismus (squint): when the eyes point in different directions.
- Visual development problems, including those that affect learning.
For children whose short-sightedness is getting worse, we also offer myopia control lenses.
Eye care for older adults
As you get older, your eyes need closer attention. We focus on preventing, detecting and managing age-related eye conditions such as:
- Cataracts
- Glaucoma
- Macular degeneration
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Dry eye
We provide thorough assessments, treatment and ongoing monitoring to protect your sight. If a condition such as a cataract needs surgery, we’ll refer you to an eye surgeon.
